Subzero Tides is a unique colony builder where you'll build a sustainable colony in an inhospitable environment of the Europa moon made possible by the geothermal vents which are bringing the heat and warm water to the icy surface.

Select your mission partner from one of the 8 major global corporations in the year 2224. Create an expedition company, build a colony with habitation modules, generate power, secure a water supply and extract resources from the harsh landscape. Manage every aspect, from resource processing to food production and expedition finances. 8 playable mission partners are: Omnia Corp, Quantum Dynamics, PharmacoGenetics, Kansai Robotics, Wushan Group, Genetix Corp, Nexus Systems and New World Mining.
Guide a group of colonists, each with unique skills and roles, including mission commanders, engineers, researchers, and more. And don't forget our robotic companions – choose from three distinct android models, each with their own abilities.

Journey to the year 2224 and secure funding from one of eight corporations, each with its own bonuses and events. Discover the unique setting on the Europa moon combining the extreme cold of the moon with subsurface ocean tides bringing heat to the surface through the geothermal vents.
DISCOVER THE SUBTLETIES
Engage in a deep gameplay through the complex set of variables, events, tasks, resources and unique disasters. Master an intuitive interface with resource management, route planner, access to the market, diplomacy, research, and more. Explore the region map with the possibility of transferring resources between colonies and exploration missions. Manage loans, bonds, mergers and other corporate machinations.
What is the current status of the development ?
Playable vertical slice with major systems implemented and technical feasibility checked. Major systems included are building a colony, colonists having independent AI, core game architecture, UI, users having options to overwrite the actions of the colonists, etc. Content wise the game is at the end of pre-production.
Will there be Early Access?
No. The game will be published when finished. But i will release development builds and public playtests.
Which engine is the game developed with?
Godot 4 engine.
What is the monetization model?
All the games released by the Logical Progression Games follow the same model - premium pricing only with no micro-transactions or pay to win. Pricing is not available at this time.

I am a solo developer and Logical Progression Games is a brand under which I develop primarily single player PC games. My background is outside of games industry with 10+ years of experience before I started making games.

Will there be multiplayer or co-op ?
Subzero Tides is a single player PC game and all efforts are going towards making a polished single player experience for PC. All other game modes, platforms or modding support might happen at a later point but are not going to be considered until the base game is at its best.

What are inspirations for this game?
There is a whole layer of colony building where I strive for logic and cleanness of the Banished where nothing just magically happens, there is a layer of business sim interchanging with the dystopian sci-fi setting drawing influences from one of the best business simulations Railroad Tycoon 2, there is an exploration aspect with limitless options for surface and subsurface exploration where I will have to be careful to keep the scope in check, UI is inspired by the grand strategy and city building giants, etc.
